Combining elements from Metal and Hardcore all the way to Pop and Punk. A Light Divided is a genre-smashing band from Winston-Salem, NC. Made up of two groups of long time friends and local musicians - Guitarists - James Lewis and Eric Humiston, Drummer - Adam Smith, and Bassist - Mike Underwood , and with the addition of New Jersey native and Vocalist Jaycee Clark, A Light Divided seeks to redefine the term "post-hardcore" and prove that having a female rock vocalist isn't just a gimmick.
Having played more than 120 shows in their first 2 years in support of their debut full length release BEFORE THE FALL, A Light Divided has shared the stage with popular national acts such as August Burns Red, Mushroomhead, In This Moment, The Autumn Offering, Bury Your Dead, Powerman 5000 among others and were chosen to play a date on 2009's Warped Tour and is quickly becoming a name everyone knows. Their loyal fan base continues to expand with each high bring their fan base to new heights and regions.
