Aaron Bowen is a fifteen year old freelance drummer/percussionist based in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. Aaron has developed his love for percussion and drumming over the past two years with influences including Abe Cunningham, Mike Portnoy, Neal Peart,Carter Beaufort,and many more.At the age of 10 Aaron blew his friends and family away with a solo performance at his elementary school talent show that was beyond intelligent. At 11 he went on to stun many others at his new school, and at 12 Aaron went into the studio in order to prepare a demo to submit to the Modern Drummer "Undiscovered Drummer Under 18" Contest.

Aaron loves all genres of music, but is especially a true rock fan! Some of his favorite bands include HIM, Deftones, The Cure, Velvet Revolver, Type O Negative, and the likes.Positive feedback from many local musicians very much his peers, keep Aaron very motivated and working hard toward achieving his goal of becomming a sucessful drumming influence.

 Aaron has been offered the opportunity to do many fill in studio sessions and has enjoyed recording in several different studio enviroments including Digimix Studios, and Osceola Studios in Raleigh, NC.Aaron is available for recording, industry showcases, club dates,. Skills include rock, funk, latin, jazz, punk, reggae, ska, Afro-Cuban rhythms, facility with click track and sight reading. He brings with him a professional attitude and dedication to his instrument that in turn provides a solid feel and backbone to any music.
